Happy Holidays!

What a year it has been! We started out the year celebrating a family birthday and Stella’s Baptism and about 2 weeks later the pandemic hit. The next few months were pretty strict quarantine for us with an infant and family members who are more at risk.

Finally by summer, we started getting to visit some family and friends and were able to enjoy the nice weather! In June, I was laid off due to Covid-19 which was bittersweet since it was a huge dynamic change for our family but also allowed me to spend more quality time with Stella and us as a family. It also allowed Shane to focus more on building his business (streaming his gaming/fishing on http://www.twitch.tv/merkadis). Thanks to his Merkadis community (which have been amazing!) I’ve been able to spend even more time at home with Stella than initially anticipated.

In September, she turned 1 and has been on the move and keeping us on our toes ever since! In my spare time, when I wasn’t chasing her around, I was able to write and release my first children’s books Just Believe and Just Believe Activity Book (https://amzn.to/37BL7hD) which have been a fun new adventure and learning experience.

The amount of support and positive feedback I’ve received on the book has been amazing and very much appreciated, thank you so much to all of you!

Looking back at this year we’ve had a lot of great memories especially watched Stella grown into the little lady she is becoming. Despite the set backs and crazy world we’re all in right now, I’m feeling very grateful for all that we have!

We’re excited to spend time with family this week to celebrate Christmas and are looking forward to the year ahead and seeing what it has in store!

We hope you all have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
